In the middle of the woods rests a well-worn Bay Colony GP8. Originally built in 1953, Bay Colony 1701 remains stored here in Medfield, MA, where it runs only a few times a year, moving hopper cars to Millis, where they're transloaded to trucks and shuttled to Tresca Brothers Concrete.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
