Yellow Again. MTA Metro-North Railroad BL14CG 401 (Brookville Locomotive, 1400hp, CoGeneration) had been out of service for for a few years when it was brought to the shops for mechanical work and new paint. This unit and sister unit 402 were purchased for their lower emissions to be used in Grand Central Terminal for East Side Access related construction. On June 13, 2022, it sits outside the Croton Harmon Engine Shops. Also in the picture are representatives of the rest of the roster including Shoreliners, M7As, P32s, and BL20GH, and the railroad’s former Lackawanna OCS cars.
