"Third Track Press Train"

On the afternoon of August 15th, 2022, Long Island Rail Road's Media Extra carrying the Governor of New York, members of the media and other dignitaries, arrives at New Hyde Park station on the Main Line for the Third Track Phase One opening ceremony. This train was one of the first to travel on the newly opened portion of third track which stretches from Floral Park to just east of Merillon Avenue.
