New Sights In Chi Town. On Friday, August 26, 2022, an outbound Metra Commuter Rail train was heading out of Chicago, Illinois with METX 104 (F40PH-3) with its "City Of Chicago" paint scheme. This special design honors the one-third of METRA stations that are in the city. It is passing the Chicago Amtrak facility with AMTK 311 (ALC42, Siemens) sitting outside the shop. For another hour or so, this would be the second highest numbered ALC-42 in the city as the day's California Zephyr would bring AMTK 313 and 314 from the factory on their way to acceptance testing.
