The power off one of Union Pacific Railway's Anaheim Haulers, which bring cars from West Colton Yard to West Anaheim Yard, sits under a crescent moon on the wye after having delivered its train earlier in the day. Tomorrow morning the power (UP SD70M 4205-AC6000CW 6894 and GP38-2 709) will continue turning on the wye and haul a train back to West Colton Yard, while the two GPs stationed here (UP GP60 1083 and GP40P-2 1375) will take some cars south to Santa Ana to set out, while picking up other cars to bring here to head back to West Colton. A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
