| Three trains are at the yard in Monroe, North Carolina dn two of them are moving! To make the shot more memorable to me is that I literally pulled up ten seconds before the road freight passed me! That train is a manifest freight passing through on the way to Hamlet, North Carolina. They are about to pass a train working the yard with CSXT SD40-2 #8107 leading moving through some switching moves. Seen to the right is the head end of an empty coal train waiting to leave the yard after the freight train clears in front of him. I'd much rather be lucky than good! |
