This was the very first time that two of the new cogwheel railcars of the Pilatusbahn traveled in multiple control with passengers. Bhe 2/2 # 43 and # 41, built by StadlerRail and Calag in 2021/2022, are running train CC 14 from Pilatus Kulm down to Alpnachstad through the donkey wall in a grade of 48 %. The Pilatus Bahn, openend in 1889, ist the steepest cogwheel railway worldwide with the unique Locher system.
