Remarks & Notes |
The Renfe Class 251 is a class of electric locomotives operated by Renfe in Spain. They are aesthetically and conceptually based on the JNR Class EF66 operated in Japan. The first two were built in Japan by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, in 1982. The rest of the series, 28 more locomotives, was built in Spain by CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) at its factories in Beasain and Valencia, in 1982-1984. |
