Steamlocomotive D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat", a replica built 1947 of the very first steamlocomotive in Switzerland, built in 1847 by Emil Kessler in Karlsruhe/Germany for the Schweizerische Nordbahn (SNB) from Baden to Zürich, with the cars of the "Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn", which was the nickname of this first swiss railway. The train run from Koblenz to Laufenburg along the Rhine river and is between Etzgen and Schwaderloch on the return journey. Just behind the bushes is the Rhine and the border, the trees in the background are in Germany.
