Growing up (and still), I was fascinated by shots from float planes traversing the vast swaths of largely undeveloped and isolated lakes, forests and streams of the rugged Canadian shield. Much of the ACR right of way cuts through just that, and I tried to reenact that type of scene here, this lake being a perfect example of the type a floatplane would visit for a fishing lodge, or hide out in a thunderstorm with its ample "runway" and a lone, long dock in the foreground. Here we see the southbound run of the Agawa Canyon tour train working its way between the imposing granite ridges and winding shoreline, treating passengers to the enchanting scenery and fall colours of northern Ontario.
