View from the Matthorn (2041 meter a.s.l.) to the Esel (donkey) mountain (2119 meter), part of the Pilatus massif. On the world's steepest cogwheel railway with grades of up to 48.0 % from Alpnachstad to Pilatus Kulm, you can see several railcars following another on sight distance, forming together the train 17. Already arrived in the mountain station are the new Bhe 2/2 # 41 and # 43 in multiple control, on the first day of timetabled service in multiple control. Below the station are two Bhe 1/2 of 1937, and another of the same series is in the Eselwand (donkey wall) running up.
