On a perfect Autumn day, New England Central 611 is seen heading South through Northfield, MA, and passing the historic Center Cemetery which reportedly has graves from as early as 1714. The lead locomotive is NECR 3474 which was built in January 1969 as an SD45 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy. Although still sporting the classic carbody and flared radiators its rebuild classification is an SD40M-2.
