Remarks & Notes |
On a perfect Autumn day, New England Central 611 is seen heading South into Millers Falls, and crossing the Millers River Bridge. The train is traveling along the old Central Vermont Southern Division main. The lead locomotive is NECR 3474 which was built in January 1969 as an SD45 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy. Although still sporting the classic carbody and flared radiators its rebuild classification is an SD40M-2. |
