Rolling into Pacific Harbor Lines' Pier A Yard in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Wilmington are a pair of EMD 6-axle diesels: Locomotive Leasing Partners SD38-2 2808 (the former Reserve Mining 1244), on lease to the PHL, and PHL SD40T-2 51 (ex-Southern Pacific 8550). These two are providing some variety from the majority of PHL's fleet, which are painted in black with silver striping (based upon Santa Fe's old "Zebra Stripe" scheme).
