Beyond its isolated cab, the EMD SD75I is pretty much identical to a SD75M. The way to tell the difference between the two is by the vertical gap or seam over the nose that identifies it as an isolated cab-equipped SD75I, that is missing on the SD75M. On April 14, 1997, a trio of Canadian National SD75I locomotives power train 340 on a detour over Wisconsin Central at Rugby, Wisconsin.
