The ORIENTAL DESERT EXPRESS from Oujda to Bouarfa (305 kilometers) is in El Fouchal, about 25 kilometer south of Ain Beni Mathar, pulled by locomotives DH # 421 and # 430. The ONCF bought 30 of this NGT26CW-3WNFORCE from National Railway Equipment (NRE), built by TZV Gredelj in Zagreb/Croatia, between 2012 aind 2014. They have a remanufactured 16-645 E3 prime mover and a weight of 122 metric ton. This railway line was built between 1925 and 1931, and later prolonged south into Algeria.
