Oujda station in the east of Morocco at 6.47 AM. The "SW 1001" DI # 503, built by GM-EMD in 1984, shoved the cars for the train 124 to Marrakech (departure 7.50 AM) onto track 6 (left). On track 7 (right) is DH # 421 (and # 430) with the Oriental Desert Express to Bouarfa, due to leave on about 7 AM or later.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
