BNSF Railway train S-LPCLBE1-03L, with Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4060 (ex-NS Dash 9-40C 8865) and BNSF ES44C4 8139 up front (and BNSF ES44C4 8204 as the rear Distributed Power Unit) providing the muscle to get this intermodal doublestack train from Chicago’s Logistics Park to the Port of Long Beach in southern California. The train is passing the Flagstaff Amtrak station, built by the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway in 1926, and long a favorite of Santa Fe fans (and many employees).
