| I am in the cab of Union Pacific SD40 3035, looking out at the various power in the diesel service area at the UP North Platte yard. It was quite an experience for my wife and I to get a VIP tour of the diesel service shops and yard, and we saw all sorts of motive power as well as pool power from many different railroads. I don't remember if the foreman is doing a double take looking at me in the cab taking photographs, or at my young bride. |
