Ed Dickens, Senior Manager of Heritage Operations for Union Pacific Railroad, sits in the cab of UP 5511 as it heads east towards Silvas, Illinois. The 2-10-2 locomotive was built in 1923 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and is from the TTT-6 Class of locomotives. It is the only one of its kind left in the world, which probably explains the grin on Ed's face as he rides the rails in this rare machine.
