The Scene In St. Paul. St. Paul, Virginia, as aways, was one of the most heavily attended stops on The Santa Train 2022. The tracks are shut down by CSX workers as the crowd surrounds Santa on CSX's "Jervis Langdon Jr."on the rear car of the train. The spirit of the legacy of the Clinchfield Railroad "The Santa Train" was in the air on Saturday, November 19, 2022 as it celebrated its 80th year. Although absent from the rails since 2019, during which time deliveries were made by truck, CSX brought out its Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (B&O) tribute painted Office Car train for the occasion in 2022. The route, which runs from Shelbiana, Kentucky to Kingsport, Tennessee, including through Clinchco, Virginia, named for the Clinchfield Railroad and the Clinchfield Coal Corporation.
