Union Pacific EMD E8A No. 928 sits forlornly on one of the turntable tracks at the roundhouse in Cheyenne, Wyoming on May 3, 2007. This locomotive was once on display at the Western Heritage Museum in the old Omaha Union Station in Omaha, Nebraska. It later went to Cheyenne, reportedly as a parts source for UP’s A-B-A set of E9s and was definitely just a “shell” at this point.
