The Base Of Bulwagga Bay. As the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train passed through Crown Point, New York (CP 2246, GP20C-ECO leading), the sun was already beginning to set behind the Adirondack Mountains. This was the first time that the train had visited the former Delaware & Hudson Railroad in New York State in 3 years, having been suspended during the pandemic. Bulwagga Bay adjoins Lake Champlain, but both sides are in the State Of New York. The train will soon arrive in Port Henry, New York to be there as night falls, with live musical performances by Lindsay Ell and JoJo Mason.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
