FMID operates their Frostproof Spur from West Lake Wales down to the namesake of Frostproof and provides some genuine "old Florida" railfanning. #94 is always here, but they rotate the other motor its paired with from time to time. If you like a "show", be sure to catch them heading up the grade out of Lake Wales. Frostproof Spur, like so many existing FL lines, is a patchwork of ex-SAL from West Lake Wales into town then ex-ACL (Haines City-Sebring) into Frostproof. There is no wye so trains have to either have a motor on either end or do a runaround on the ex-SAL tangent.
