| In 2020 CN started to ween off its fleet of C40-8 variants including the C40-8M's. In late 2020 CN started to reactivate some of the Dash 8 fleet. Throughout 2021 many Dash 8's could be found roaming around the system. As time went on more and more were slowly put back in storage and eventually the entire series was back in storage or retired. As CN started sending some of them south to Illinois and Ohio for scrapping, two of the Dash 8's were returned to service and can still be seen today: IC 2466 and BCOL 4609 |
