Four F-Units (AMTK FP7 110, SP FP7 6456, AMTK F7B 161, AMTK FP7 120) from Amtrak train 1, the westbound Sunset Limited, have cut off the train after delivering it to Los Angeles Union Station (after bringing it from New Orleans). The quartet of F-Units are seen arriving at Southern Pacific’s Taylor Yard and, shortly, engineer M. J. "Deb" Crowley, who was the fireman on the very first Southern Pacific train 99 Coast Daylight (on March 21, 1937), will climb out of the cab of FP7 110 to complete his final run and begin a well-deserved retirement.
