Bisecting Chapman University is Metrolink train 604, heading to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo from Los Angeles. (Train 604 normally goes all the way to Oceanside, but unstable ground under the mainline along the beach in San Clemente has closed the mainline and shortened Metrolink and Amtrak train operations in the area.) SCAX F125 932 is leading this five-car train. (Orange, California – January 10, 2023)
