Remarks & Notes |
Pee Dee River Railway 1764 leads a train through some final switching moves at the small yard in Marlboro, South Carolina. The yard feeds the Domtar Paper Mill which can be seen in the background.
PDRR 1764 was built by EMD in 1952 as Seaboard Air Line (SAL) GP7 1809. Seaboard Coast Line rebuilt it to a GP16 and renumbered it SCL 4718. CSX later sold it to the Pee Dee River Railway.
The Pee Dee River Railway runs on former Atlantic Coast Line rails between Marlboro and McColl, South Carolina. It is owned by the Aberdeen & Rockfish Railroad. |
