Stella Jones is a Canadian based wood product manufacturer with a utility pole facility in Arlington, Washington. On this wet day, a typical Western Washinton day between October and June, the crew of the Arlington Turn conducts its business on the former NP Sumas Branch trackage. This was a huge branch with four of its own branches at one point spanning nearly half the state north to south. A few miles in Arlington and at Sumas remain and were connected to the former GN mainline to Canada that is the present day BNSF Bellingham Subdivision.
