| Green Cars And Green Trees. On the August 4, 2021, Amtrak Train 8 (Empire Builder) was passing through Montana as it crossed Sheep Creek in Nimrod. Webb Rail's former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome 313 (WEBX 801044) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome 549 (WEBX 801045 were holding the marker as the train headed east through the mountains of Glacier National Park. While this route was historically the Great Northern Railroad's, these cars did operate here after the Burlington Northern merger. |
