The Big J heads west. With just seconds of daylight left, Norfolk & Western J-Class Northern #611 charges west through the Fairview section of Pennsylvania's Strasburg Rail Road, headed for the company's yards, perhaps half a mile ahead. This image was captured on the grounds of Verdant View Farm, during a November, 2022 photo shoot operated for the benefit of the 611 and her owner, the Virginia Museum of Transportation.
