| The rear end of a loaded coal train passes over Assembly Street in Columbia, South Caolina back 2009. CSX #703 is a General Electric ES44AC-H built in 2007. It is an DPU in this shot which stands for Distributed Power Unit. The egineer can control this locomotive from the one he sits in at the front of the train. What that means for these drivers stopped by the train is that they are almost able to proceed north on Assembly. |
