This veteran will get a second life. CSFN 2081 (Colorado San Francisco & Northern) sits in a field along Highway 93 between Golden and Boulder, Colorado. The EMD G8 was built for Canadian National in 1954 and somehow found its way south to Colorado. The new owner is raising money to move the engine to a secure facility for restoration and then display. If you google CSFN Colorado you should find more details.
