From Tuesday thru Saturday the locals on the Omaha Sub work and usually meet at Denison. The jobs normal run with a single SD60 that faces forward since they wye power at both ends. With the Omaha Sub now in bad shape, the jobs take most of the 12 hours to make the turn, swap trains, and do work. Here with only 4 cars, the job works back to Council Bluffs. Down to less than 3 hours to work, the job would need 2 hours of it to get the last 17 miles and tie up. In about 1/2 mile, the local will cross over the UP's Omaha Line near Loveland.
