New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R62 no. 1515 (Kawasaki, 1983-1985) is the lead motor on a downtown 2 train seen stopped at 72nd St Station on the IRT Broadway-7th Avenue Line. Due to weekend work, 2 trains were running in two sections: Wakefield-241st St to 3rd Ave-149th St and Harlem-148th St to Flatbush Ave-Brooklyn College. The latter section was using a few R62 trainsets normally used in 3 service, which was instead suspended.
