Vacuum Train.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R41 locomotive no. 59 (GE, 1967-1968) is seen on the end of a work train at 14th St-Union Square Station on the BMT Broadway Line. This train was assisting with maintenance work cleaning out drains on the Broadway Line express track over the weekend, moving very slowly from one drain to the next as crews on the track manipulated a tube connected to a diesel-powered vacuum on the last car. Due to this slow operation and two diesel engines, the air in the station was thick with exhaust - I smelled the locomotive in the station before I saw or heard it!
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
