Handle with care: A "high profile" load on the WW&F - Part 4. The last major obstacle which posed a serious clearance problem for the transport of the shelter building was the Sheepscot Water Tank. The clearance here was calculated to be so close, that the spout was removed from the structure. You can see it on the ground next to the foundation. Volunteer Brendan Barry stands near the corner of the building, ready to call a halt to the action if anything looks awry. Brendan had a special interest in this. He's the man who rigged this load on the flat. |
