| The Galesburg to Northtown manifest heads west under the classic signal bridge at Hoffman with a very unusual consist. It's not everyday you see a Santa Fe geep lead a train, let alone on a road train that lead across 3 states and 400 miles. It's amazing the power lasted the whole way. The next day the power would go back to Galesburg on the NTWGAL, with the trailing SD40-2 in this photo leading the counterpart. Unreal. |
