| The LB local featured one of the last remaining SD45's in service on the MRL back in May 2022. On this beautiful Friday evening the job got a 16:00 call time at Laurel. Many chased the job across the 2nd Sub towards Bozeman and the setting sun. Here the job pokes along the Yellowstone River west of Craver following a grain train west, while meeting a few trains. The 1st 100 miles on today's trip would be slow as they followed that grain train and made meet after meet. The job usually makes great time, but today they wouldn't see Livingston (100 miles) before dark. |
