"The Indicated Route"
On the afternoon of March 21st, 2023, Metro-North Railroad train 2564, with a consist of Bombardier M7A railcars, ducks under the CP 112 Route Indicators while traversing the Harlem Line in the Bronx borough of New York City.
The CP 112 Route Indicators are giant LED arrows mounted on an old New York Central signal bridge at MP 11.5 which show whether northbound trains are lined for the Harlem Line (vertical arrow) or New Haven Line (horizontal arrow) at CP 112. This is one of two route indicator systems on Metro-North's territory, the other located just south of CP 5 (MO) on the Harlem River Bridge.
