It is kind of surprising how ones steps back in time with the way the KCS still does business. Some of this railroad isn't built for speed. Heavy grades, twisting railroad, and an old signal system, sometimes makes getting around labor intensive. Here we have grain trains meeting at Watts. The northbound is taking a flashing restricting signal into the siding. The train has slowed up coming in on an approach, and "takes a look" before proceeding into the siding where they have a pickup.
