| The Venice, IL, to KC freight train is done with their pickup at Slater and is now backing out east of town to get their train. Slater is located on the ex-Gateway Western Trackage on the KCS Mexico Sub. This job picked up the 2 geeps the Slater Local was using this week. Guessing this power will go to KC for service on the weekends? Due to this train leaving over 12 hours late out of Venice, a rare daylight trip is happening today west of Mexico on the way into KC. |
