| The Memphis to Mobile road freight for CN is down to 17 mph as they top the 1% grade south of Mendenhall. The train is carrying a bunch of grain for Mobile, so they are little bit heavier today. The KCS unit was added at Jackson as a "kicker" to get the train over this grade. This is the CN Beaumont Sub, and the train will do work and meets its counterpart A489 at Hattiesburg in about 50 miles. |
