Remarks & Notes
A rainy summer day in Seattle did not dampen spirits of UP employees as the railroad operated Family Days round trip train rides between Argo Yard in Seattle and Black River Jct. This stretch of track was the only mainline track totally owned by UP between Seattle & Portland. UP shared track with MILW from Black River to Tacoma Jct., and had trackage rights on BN Tacoma to Portland.

See beautiful diesel locomotives in UP's traditional armour yellow livery and special commemorative paint schemes pulling long trains of yellows cars reminiscent of the days when UP domeliners seemed to go Everywhere West.
