A rail train bound for points south rolls thru Defiance at sunset on the CSXT Garrett Sub. The train crosses the Napoleon, Defiance & Western Railroad. The old signals protect the diamond with the CSX and NDW. The NDW was originally the Wabash Railroad's 5th District from New Haven, IN, to Toledo, OH, Now days the NDW operates 58 miles.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
