Paint Cometh To Those Who Wait. New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway's SU-99 crossed the Hackensack River into Hackensack, New Jersey at a little after 5:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023. Four of the railroad's corporate scheme painted units (3012 [SD33ECO], 4064 [SD70M-2], 3016 [SD33ECO] and 4062 [SD70M-2]) lead NYSW 4060 (SD70M-2), the last of the four EMDs of this model on the roster that are still "patched" from previous Norfolk Southern ownership. The quintet brings a 92-car train towards Binghamton, New York on the presently bi-weekly road train. Though the fleet had been looking a bit non-uniform in recent years, the yellow and black has returned.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
