Remarks & Notes |
The Re 420 # 239 (Re 4/4 II # 11239) of the SBB is one of only two locomotives of the series which have a name and a blazon. Here this is the coat of arm of the town of Porrentruy in the canton Jura, which shows a wild boar. So the # 11239 is called the "wild boar" (Wildsau) by train fans. The locomotive got this blazon and name from the Ae 6/6 # 11483 in 1979, which was then new adorned "canton of Jura". Re 420 # 239 is pulling the freight train 62180 from the Limmattal shunting yard via Olten to Hägendorf, between Dietikon and Killwangen-Spreitenbach. |
