| The SU99 on the night of April 14th was led by the newly painted 4066 on her maiden voyage on the road train since being repainted. This foamfest was cut short when the SU99 stalled up the grade to Stockholm due to the 4064 having an oil-related problem. They also had issues with the generally reliable 3012 causing them to be dead and in need of a rescue.
That came in the form of the Sparta Job coming down with the leased High Hood from NS. The unit came down and led the 99 back up to Sparta where it was taken off and the 99 continued on its journey to Binghamton. This view of the 5212 is in the time after they had attached to the SU99 and when they set up to leave. It was a not-so-perfect introduction to the refreshed-looking EMDs NYSW has painted in the past few weeks. |
