| CP 8609 leads train 100 east in Calgary. Once in the Calgary yard, they dropped off one locomotive and their autodecks at Ogden. Eastbound trains often shed one locomotive in Calgary. The extra power was needed for their trip through the mountains but, not so much for the trek across the prairies. |
