Central Pair. Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) was joined by former New York Central lounge/diner "Swift Stream" (RPCX 800460) on Amtrak Train 42 on Sunday, May 22, 2022. These cars ran together for many years on the "New England States", New York Central's Boston to Chicago overnight train and were reunited for this trip. The train is seen crossing the former Pennsylvania Railroad (now Norfolk Southern) Rockville Bridge, longest stone masonry arch railroad viaduct ever built, over the Susquehanna River from Marysville, Pennsylvania to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Behind the photographer is the Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast, a hotel favorite amongst railfans.
